Local Flora and Fauna

Like many regions of dry, hot inland Australia, the Corner Country has an environment in which many plants and animals not only survive, but thrive.  Witnessing  the explosion of growth following rain one only just begins to understand the uniqueness of the region.

From box trees to bottlewashers, poached egg plants to emu bushes Corner Country plants offer a myriad of colours  and shapes.

Native animals, too, are unique.  From tiny marsupial mice, to larger kangaroo species; from willy wag tails to wedgetail  eagles, the Corner has it all.
