Visit Tibooburra's Courthouse Museum, located in
Briscoe Street, alongside the National Park office

At the end of Briscoe Street is Pioneer Park. On display are several items from Tibooburra's history as well as an upturned replica of Sturt's whaling boat. Sturt hoped to be able to sail it upon an inland sea. ( it was left at Depot Glen when Sturt retreated to Adelaide) The replica boat is one of three public art pieces north of Broken Hill. see more | |||||

Head out to Sunset Lookout for great views of
Tibooburra and the area surrounding. Head north from the township and follow the
signs.

| Go prospecting! Mt Stuart Station welcomes fossickers. You never know your luck. Visit the local quarry where sandstone for Tibooburra's buildings was quarried. | ||||||
