It is so
disappointing that an image of the Milparinka Courthouse prior to its
restoration in the 1980s has again been used as a promotion for Corner Country,
with the caption along the lines of "restored by the community".
For those of you who know and love the buildings in Milparinka, and know the
work of the community and its volunteers, I urge you to contact the publishers
of the articles and ask that they please check their images carefully before
publication.

Member Plants Trees at Packsaddle

The federal electorate of Farrer
is huge, running from Cameron Corner to Wanarring, and back to
Albury on the Murray River...a big area with diverse needs.
But, on Sunday 8th of August the locals
planting trees at the Packsaddle Gymkhana ground were all given a
very pleasant surprise when local MP Sussan Ley, came along to lend
a hand.
