DISCOVER CORNER COUNTRY HERITAGE

From early times, the Corner Country has  had a remarkable history. It has been the traditional home to the Maliangaapa Wadigali and Wangkumara people, was explored by Sturt, Stuart and Burke and Wills, and settled by squatters and miners.  Please follow the links below to learn more about our region's past. Many of the locations mentioned can be visited today.  We hope that you do so when next you travel to the Corner Country.

Be sure to visit Milparinka during Heritage Activity week
